Referring to my old post: The Birth of a Cute Panda (1) The Birth of a Cute Panda (2) About a few days ago, there was a huge fuzz in Thailand. Remember the 2 Panda we have in the Chiang Mai Zoo? You should watch this video if you've never seen it before. Apparently, one of the 2 Panda the Chinese government had 'loaned' to us gave birth to a new panda cub. From what I heard from the people in my field, we'd have to return this baby panda to the Chinese government on the next 2 years, but for now, we have to pay the Chinese an amount of $40,000 (or $400,000, I forgot the exact amount) under the legal contract. A few weeks ago, there was a joint effort between Malaysia's Petronas and Thailand's Yamaha to organize a motorcycle race in Hat Yai. Although it was a big event, there lack advertising and press conference. Anyways, the news came to me, and I decided to check it out (even though I have least interest in this) So generally, Yamaha was performing a road-show of their latest models, while the Petronas was promoting their sponsorship and other products such as the infamous Petronas Oils. (I missed the stall for it.) Regardless, there was a few steps to selecting the worthy racers. Racers would have to pass these obstacles and turns around in a specific patterns. It looks easy, but since you need to do this fast, I cant help but feel afraid that they could fall anytime.. Surprisingly, no accident happened. I guess they're all pros after all. Previous Post: 08 Mar 20 - In Memoir of Selya Angel It's been 4 years since she passed away. The sorrow remain unerased.. I can still feel the sadness in me. Regardless, I've been mourning for her for 3 days already, and I guess Life still have to go on. The living still have to move forward, she's watching me, watching her friends, and I'm sure by now she's alright. I miss the old time before I started working, meeting friends, getting to know them, no serious business.. Life sure had changed. But the memory of you still remains. This post, entirely is dedicated to Selya Angel, who died from blood cancer at the age of 16, 4 years ago. May she be in peace, and the memories remains in our heart forever. I been in RO for a year. I just bough a new Card Reader, and at least it works. Anyways, here's something I missed, it was while I was browsing for the files in my cameras. Yeah, this is after the wave subsided, a day after the Songkran festival. There's skill occassional battles around, but not as much as how it was long ago. Still traffic jams around but it's not that bad compared to the first day of the Water Festival in Hat Yai. Cheers
