โรงแรมบ้านโบราณ - Baan Boraan Hotel Bangkok
Found this, Baan Boran and the price is ok which they claim that it is near nearby temple and Khao San Road.
The room is ok, and we were greeted by 3 female teenagers who are extremely polite.
Our room is ok, in fact everything is quite good.
1.) Friendly staff, they can't speak English or Thai well though. Their boss is however, too ignorant to even greet customers.
2.) Clean room except for the dusty TV everything else is ok.
3.) Wifi reached my room.
4.) Big room, have TV with cable channels, 2 chairs, a table and a fridge.
5.) There is a mini-shower area in the room, but it is completely transparent, seems to fit personal or couples.
6.) Quiet, nice peaceful sleep.
The downside:
1.) The toilet is outside, separated from the personal room. Definition of public toilet fits better. Not a big problem because they have maximum if 10 rooms.
2.) Too quiet, I get the feeling that something is so wrong here. Creepy.
3.) The sincere staff definitely have a problem communicating, even taxis I called have problem understanding them.
4.) The hotel is located inside small road, away from the main road which make it hard to find.
-"There is complete nothing outside is hotel. It's very dark and seemingly dangerous. Ladyboys are outside and the 7-11 Staff warned us that robbery happened often here. Simply said, there is nothing to do at night here!"
I was very disappointed as we reaches here at 9pm and we expect to have a good walk before sleeping.. Sulks.
