08 Dec 31 - The end of 08

The final day for the 08.
It's fast isnt it?

Time flies too fast when you are waiting, but when it comes to actual demonstration, it feels that I lack of time.

I posted about my Celebration Last Year

I still remember my resolution for the year, getting my first million.
A year had passed, an I accomplished a little around 20% of it, erm.. However, I'm sure that the lesson and experienced I learned this year would lift me up to my target next year!

It's 31st, and this is what I've been doing.

Working, yes, I'm still working as the boss forbids us to take a leave. This place, does not allows the employee to take a day off on public holidays, which violates the labor laws. But of course, since the big boss is a friend of my mom, it's more to a request, only in term of speaking.

Putting that aside.

We just celebrated it with a few friends outside, a little coffee here and there..

And finally, there's a gift from a special someone. :)

Thank you!!
God Bless and May Happiness be with us all!

08 Dec 30 - A Day before New Year

Hat Yai had been in preparation for a big New Year Party in the city.

You can easily notice of the hard work.

They sent about 200 trainee on various of tourism areas to clean up the place before setting up stages for the concert and the likes tomorrow.

Well, it's somewhat nice to know that even with the sub-prime domino, we're still receiving lots of tourists from the nearby country.

Enjoy :)

08 Dec 15 - Iraqi Journalist Throws Shoes at President Bush Over Iraq War

In the News:
Bush's Iraq-Afghan farewell tour marred by dissent (Yahoo! News)

KABUL, Afghanistan – President George W. Bush wrapped up a whirlwind trip to two war zones Monday that in many ways was a victory lap without a clear victory. A signature event occurred when an Iraqi reporter hurled two shoes at Bush, an incident the president called "a bizarre moment."

But the president's message on progress in the region was having trouble competing with the videotaped image of the angry Iraqi who hurled his shoes at Bush in a near-miss, shouting in Arabic, "This is your farewell kiss, you dog!" The reporter was later identified as Muntadar al-Zeidi, a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television, an Iraqi-owned station based in Cairo, Egypt.

An Iraqi journalist throws his shoes at President Bush out of contempt for Bush over the Iraq war.

"It's the end," the journalist yelled as he hurled both of his shoes at Bush.

President Bush joked, "It was a size ten shoe," while the journalist could be heard yelling in the hall after being removed from the press conference.

I hope he is alright.

08 Dec 14 - The Next Princess (เจ้าหญิงคนต่อไป)

-------------------------------------------------------

Did you see the beautiful comets last night?
I hope your dream comes true!

--------------------------------------------------------

I've been quite busy so there lacks of an update, but expect one soon.
Oh and not forgetting, this is my favorite song, one that I still remembers till now.

Bissonic Automatic

Lyrics:

ศิลปิน : บลิสโซนิค

ชื่อเพลง: เจ้าหญิงคนต่อไป
อัลบั้ม: Automatic

08 Dec 10 -A Near-Flood in Hat Yai

I once blogged of the heavy rain last week.

An official announcement was made by the officials for the citizens of Hat Yai to immigrate to a higher area.

Mr. Phlay Pattano, the Mayor of Hat Yai had ordered to 'spill' the water dwelling in the Hat Yai rivers to the villages outside of Hat Yai.

It's good to the people in Hat Yai... because..

Boss was ready to close the pharmacy early, the employees took the trouble to empy all drugs near the 'floor' to prevent any damage to those drugs.

All other store owners outside were also ready to immigrate.

Around noon, it was decided that the pharmacy was closed early.

Upon my way home, I noticed that one of the road tunnels turned into a huge swimming pool..
There's even kids jumping from the other side of the road down into the pool.

Upon browsing around.. I thought I saw a dead body.. And he's been there for quite a while without moving.. Police was around the area, but none were approaching the man to recover the body and I wonders why.

And soon the man got up, before laying down.. (again)

My house was unaffected which was lucky for me.

I thanks the Mayor for the decision, even at the cost of flooding other areas... Somehow I feel bad about it.

Cheers.

08 Dec 05 - Long Live King Bhumibol Adulyadej!!

It's the King's Birthday today, and officially the National Day and the Father's Day for Thailand.

Although the King was too sick to give the annual speech, we all wishes for him to recover and have a healthy live to lead us out of this mess.

More articles would be here:
CNN-King Bhumibol's Birthday

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thailand's ailing king on Thursday failed to deliver his traditional birthday speech, which many Thais had hoped would help resolve the country's political paralysis and unify a divided nation.

Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn went on national radio to inform Thais that King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who turns 81 on Friday, was unable to deliver the speech "because he was a little sick."

"The king has said to thank (you) for the wishes given out of loyalty. He wants to return the good wishes. He wants everyone to have strong mental and physical health to perform their duties for the public," said Vajiralongkorn, the king's son.

Many Thais were eagerly awaiting the king's speech, hoping to receive guidance on how Thailand, which is just recovering from a weeklong seizure of its two main airports by anti-government activists, can resolve its political crisis.

08 Dec 03 - Flood in Hat Yai

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The mob had been disbanded after the government's political party was considered 'illegal' by the High Court. Everything in Thailand is back to normal 'for now.' The airport is open once again.
SET sky-rocketed in the morning but it went down from a positive 6% to a 2%.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It rained for weeks already in Hat Yai, and last Saturday, I was in need to join a scheduled meeting with my friends.

Just look at the picture, the whole association had become a swimming pool.

08 Nov 28 - Hey, what's this?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The PAD is still blocking all of the international airports in Bangkok, stalling and rendering the air transport 'dead.'
Thousands of tourists are stuck in Thailand after their vacation and it severely affects the Kingdom's image in a negative way.
Thai's commerce is dead and will be long dead.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An old friend who's still in Penang, contacted me during his trip to Hat Yai a few days ago.
Well, he told me to add him in Friendster and provides me with a few way to access into his Photos, which would include the pictures of his class.

This was taken last year, at the last year of his high school. Without a doubt, I notice 3 very familiar faces (they doesnt change), and another 2 familiar girls but I wasnt too sure if my guess was right.

I've never been to the classroom, but I can guess that the classroom's located in either the 2nd or 3rd floor of the building.

And another pic where I remember those 2 familiar faces. Blind guess, I remember that very familiar stairs that I passed to every week.

And this is a picture taken during the dinner to celebrate for graduating from the high schools.

There, we notice another 3 familiar faces, and I cant stop laughing when I see the person sitting in the middle. He reminds me of a Chinese Superstar in the TV.

Lam said I've changed quite a lot, far different than how I looks like 8 years ago.
Well, what can I say? Gotta agree I've changed quite a lot and hardly few can reconize me now, it's not that bad though, but I'm still discontent at this of me yet.

It's a wonderful meeting with an old friend and there was an offer for me to work in Penang.

Now I cant really make up my mind haha.

08 Nov 25 - PAD causes more trouble for Thailand

Sick of the mob.
Anyways, to make it brief, the PAD had mobbed the entire Bangkok again, blocking roads to major areas and renders the road in paralysis.

During the ASEAN meeting, the Singapore's official was asking the Thai's Prime Minister why road-politics prevails in Thailand.

What a shame!

08 Nov 24 - Hat Yai Vegetarian's Festival

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not that old.. but it still catches my attention what-so-ever, so take a look.
How to Look 5 Years Younger!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I posted of the Vegetarian's event in Hat Yai last Year as well.

This year, I could take a look at the event in a close-up and the backstage as a friend of mine from the PSU was also an organizer.

Last month, in Hat Yai, there was a celebration related to the Vegetarian's Week, where each participants is required to eat vegetables and wear white clothes for the week.

The event is quite similar to cleansing one's self from sins, sparing the life of thousands of chickens (or pigs) that we eat daily.

Just click on the picture for a larger version, where you can see that these guys are seriously piercing it across.

The man is performing a dance, and you notice Pheng in the left side of the photo. He was the 'lead' for the man together with 7 other members from the Waad Khong Liang Temple.

There's also an international participant here, according to a friend who was also in the organizer's comittee, he's a Malaysian, but I couldnt remember his name.

A seriously long caravan, and traffic was jammed due to the caravan.

One of the Shopping Malls in the area organizes a Chinese Table for the executives to ask for blessings by drinking those teas.

There's also a respectable monk giving out holy waters to the people. Believe or not, you gotta ask for one too.

And finally, the climax of the event was the celebration in front of Lee Garden, where thousands of people was watching it, whether from the Central Shopping Mall, the Hotel or the area nearby.

If you miss this year's festival, might want to check it out next year. :)

08 Nov 21 - Slipped from the Road

I've heard of bus accidents in Thailand everyday and I know how unorganized and their 'rude' way of driving are sometimes.

Lucky I wasnt stuck in the accident, and at the same time, the passengers was lucky that it wasnt a serious accident.

08 Nov 17 - L S M B F

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How many of you actually things that Obama deserves the right to keep his BlackBerry?
Why not? It's a tool that could help him govern the States better, dont you think so?
Click me to check out the article.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So to start.
No names, so I'll state the people involved here as L, S, M, B and F.

L (Female) is a the girlfriend of M (Male), both was separated in an inevitable event and both was never given a chance to know of where each other were.
L Misses M to her heart's content and wishes to see M, but she doesnt know where to begin the search.
B heard of it, and told L that he knows where M is, and volunteers to bring her to M for a price.
However, the price is far too much for L to afford.
L met S who soon offered to pay for the fees required to pay B in exchange for L's virginity.
L accepted the offer from S just for the sake of finding M.
F is a friend of M heard of what happened, and informed M of the truth.
Upon their meeting, the furious M broke his relation with L.
Conclusion: L was hurt most, to lose her virginity and her boyfriend.

What I wanted to ask was.
Who is to blame the most and who is the less to blame?
If you still havent given it a thought, please re-read before sharing up your thought. :)

Now to ease the curiosity, just click and read what I've posted in my comment box.

What is your answer?

08 Nov 16 - Backstabbing

You know the word "Backstabbed"
Now I know the meaning of a "Backstabber"
I wonder if they knows what "Backstab" means.
But I'm sure they realize that they are "Backstabbing"

Just a tale, shouldnt really stress on it, but oh well, maybe it's best forgotten.

08 Nov 12 - Loy Loy Krathong

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Both pictures are from my trip to the PSU in Hat Yai last year.

The Post is here: 07-Nov-27 Roy Krakthong Festival
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

How disappointing, I realized that I forgotten both my Camera and my Handphone on the way to Hat Yai's Public Garden.
Well, I couldnt say much as it was my fault to be rushing to the Public Garden after being late for chatting in the Kenny's Cbox.

We meet up with Phong, Tira, Khon and a few other Doctors, Pharmacists and the seniors before getting up for some investment related talks.

Actually, we did another thing that my boss recently recommended me to.

Four of us who were investors and was directly involved in the BLISS-TEL punting last year, wrote up the word "BLISS" in a piece of paper and together with the paper, we put in a 10 baht coin into the Krathong before setting them to sail.

It was just an hour meeting as the weather seems to be upset all the night.

Let us hope that the Krathong will sail toward it's destination and allows us to be free.

PS: I found this song perfect for our Loy Krathong mood, and oh, it's another one by ハツネ ミク。

Hope you enjoyed it, love you guys and girls, and thanks Yui and Tira for the flowers today.

08 Nov 11 - New Car

I once posted that we got a new car since we was unable to continue with the license for our Mitsubishi Strada, thus is the main reason for us to be getting a new car.

It was a decision to be getting the Honda Jazz which was quite famous at the time.
The gear was an auto it was generally easier to drive than our old car, there's only a few downside where it could hardly run for an out-of-city use as it's light and not meant to run for an out-of-city use.

The positive side would include that the smaller petrol tank means smaller hole for my wallter.

08 Nov 09 - Many things to fix

I was just back from an expedition last night, it's related to our pharmacist work regarding herb extraction and the likes.

Life's still pretty much crooked due to the lack of time. Work ate up 10 hours per day, and other life events pretty much cuts me off from blogging.

I should find the time to meet all the nice guys and girls :)

08 Nov 05 - Change has come to America!

Obama had won! The 44th President of the United States.

This has been a big news for almost all of us.
To be honest, I've always been on the Republican even for Bush 4 years ago. (I'd say that Bush is still a better President than the other)

But when it comes to this year, as I always said, I'd rather choose a President based on the individual candidate than the party.

And so, since the change will directly affects the world's economy, I had to keep a close watch on him and his policies.

The First Black President, a history for the American!

According to what I heard, Obama is born in Indonesia, he studied in Jakarta and had a father who is a Kenyan.

I'd like to assume that our new President is capable of communicating in Indonesian language, thus it'd be an honor for me if I could meet and have a friendly conversation with him.

Good luck to our new President and let's hope he could find a way to improve everything, the war, the world economy and the hot earth.

08 Nov 04 - Temple on Car

Yes, it's actually a car, you can see the wheel if I take a closer shot at it.
Where else can you see a temple on top of a car?

Oh yes, sometimes, you can see monks sitting in them and going around the city to spread the teaching of the Buddhist.

You can actually see this kind of events every year in Thailand.

Enjoy yourself~
